Read MoreFifty-nine-year-old David Baker of Hanoverton was taken by KLG Ambulance to Salem Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries after an accident on state Route 172 at about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday. According to the highway patrol, Baker was driving a 2003 Ford Explorer east on Route 172 when he lost control on the snow-covered road and went left of center, striking an oncoming Mack truck driven by Keith Tahon, 52, of Pittsburgh. Hanover Township firefighters responded to clean up a diesel fuel spill from a ruptured tank on the semi. Hanover and Winona firefighters provided traffic control for the accident which closed down Route 172 for nearly three hours until one lane became passible.
