Y & O Road Crash Neal Tenderholdt Glenmoor Calcutta
Read MoreEmergency personnel had to extricate Neal K. Tenderholt, 46, Echo Valley Road, Wellsville, from his 1995 Ford Bronco after he crashed on Y&O Road in Glenmoor late Tuesday night. According to St. Clair police, Tenderholt was traveling toward Calcutta when the vehicle went off the right side, struck a ditch, went airborne and came down nose-first, causing it to spin around. He was not wearing a seat belt and was tossed into the cargo compartment. Firefighters from Glenmoor and Liverpool Township used the Jaws of Life to remove the back hatch door so Tenderholt could be administered medical treatment and then be removed to a waiting North Star ambulance. He was transported to a waiting Air Evac helicopter at the Walmart plaza, where a landing zone was prepared by Calcutta firefighters. He was flown to Allegheny General, where he was listed in stable but guarded condition. Patrolman Ryan Stovall said he could face a failure to control charge. Morning Journal/Patti Schaeffer
