Jackson in The Valley Civil War Re-enactment

The cannons were used by both sides in the recreation of the Battle of Chancellorsville, which was fought from April 30 until May 6, 1863 in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. The battle was hoisted by the Army of the Shenandoah at the annual Jackson in the Valley event which returned to Scenic Vista this year. The event continues today starting at 8 a.m. and ending with a 1p.m. battle titled Eternal Glory. Morning Journal/Patti Schaeffer
