Columbiana Mayor Brian Blakeman was wearing a different hat on Saturday as he brought two of his homebrews to The Taste for Vets Homebrew Challenge. His first beer named "Cockadoodle Brew" is Belgian Caramel wit and his second beer named "Filibuster" is a Chocolate Whiskey Barrel Stout. 2017 Academic Challenge
The 39th Columbiana County Academic Challenge was hosted by Crestview High School and the Columbiana County Educational Service Center on Saturday. Lisbon was the winner of the event and will proceed to the Regional Ohio Academic Competition at Cloverleaf High School in Lodi on Saturday, May 6, 2017. Above,

Crestview was a repeat winner as they captured the championship with seven round wins in the 2016 Academic Challenge held at Crestview High School Saturday.
