2018 Jamie Rambo Fire Lisbon FD West Point
Read MoreHard Times
Two adults and two children are displaced after a morning fire at their trailer at 8723 Scroggs Road. Jamie Rambo and her boyfriend were renting the trailer from Shawna Bailey of Lisbon. A quick response and knockdown of the fire by Lisbon firefighters with an assist from West Point firefighters saved some of the contents in the opposite end of the trailer, with them receiving just smoke and water
damage. Lisbon Chief Paul Gresh said the cause is undetermined at this time but it's suspected it might have been caused by a faulty electrical outlet. The room where the fire started was being used for
storage, mostly baby items, according to a teary-eyed
Rambo. Rambo's two children were at her mom's house and not on the scene at the time of the fire. Six firefighters from Lisbon and six from West Point with four trucks responded to the scene just before 8:30 a.m. Neither Bailey nor Rambo had insurance on the trailer or its contents. The Red Cross was called in to assist the family. Morning Journal/Patti Schaeffer
